Women belong in all the places that decisions are made…

Felt is a community of strong women leaders, volunteers and students and we truly feel that this sets us apart. Our volunteers comes from a range of countries and backgrounds, but they come together with a single aim, to elevate the experience of others through education.

However, this International Women’s Month, we would be remiss if we didn’t highlight the plight of women around the world. Women are discriminated against in the workforce, black women are increasingly at risk from medical procedures, especially childbirth, and the disparity in wages is heavily tied to sex and race.

We also believe that our trans-sisters are often left out of the conversation, yet that have been at the forefront of fighting for women against discrimination and violence. Our trans-sisters are our sisters and we stand with them, with immigrants, with refugees and with all women around the world fighting for change.
